Assalamu alaikum, I am an elementary school teacher. I am health conscious, financially responsible and emotionally mature. I value day-to-day simplicity so that I can devote myself to quality and meaningful experiences in my life. I like to read, listen to Islamic podcasts and go for walks. My passion project is helping to teach young people at the mosque. I started running workshops for Muslim teenagers about Social Emotional Learning, based on an Islamic perspective. I also help to organize and carry out activities (i.e. art, sports and social emotional learning) at an Islamic Summer camp for elementary students.
